I am a thinker. I like to think about things people around me often forget to think about. Things like the coffee’s meaning as a cultural product keep me awake at night, so the only way to make it better is to write about it.

About me:
I have a BA in English at Malmö University, Sweden. I loved it.
I have spent a semester abroad in Newcastle University, UK, studying cultural studies and some advertising. I loved it and miss it every day.
I am now doing an Master’s programme in Applied Cultural Analysis at Lund University, Sweden. I am loving every second of it.
About BI:
Bold Italic is the place where I come to lay my thoughts on books, cultural trends, education, and other things, for more than a year now. I have learned that the more I write down my worries the more relaxed I become, and the more I share my ideas the clearer they are for me too. So here I am and here you are reading this. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy writing it.

I love the feel of your blog. It makes me want to curl up in the sun with a good cup of coffee and delve in. Looking forward to doing that as often as possible 😉

Good tip. I’ll also try not to accidentally put sun screen in my coffee instead of creamer…

    I love your blog!
Just wondering where are you from originally?
Sweden (also Denmark and Norway) are at the top of my want to travel to list! I have a strange obsession with Scandinavia even though I’ve never been there before.
I’m also about to start studying English Language and Culture, I’m so excited!

Glad you are enjoying my blog!
I am originally from Romania, but I am living in Sweden for some good years now (calling it home not only from a location point of view, but also because it’s the place I love the most).
If you ever travel in Southern Sweden or Denmark do let me know, I would love to grab a coffee and show you around.
I hope you will enjoy your education as much as I enjoy mine- it’a great field.

Romania, cool, two very good friends of mine are from Romania.
I shall be sure to drop you a line when I finally make it to Sweden or Denmark 😉
I am a bit of a nerd, so I think I am most definitely going to enjoy my studies 😉
